Hello, Two years ago Yigal Gat and associates in Israel published a study titled, Reversal of benign Prostate Hyperplasia by super-selective Intraprostatic Androgen Deprivation Therapy. In short, by occluding the internal spermatic veins the congestion that causes BPH is removed. A year later they published again, showing how the precedure will prevent prostate cancer. What I want to know is why isn't anyone in the U.S. doing this procedure? The procedure takes an hour or two and requires no anesthesia except for ice. Gat is an interventional radiologist.
